Tennessee lawmakers are considering a bill that would allow the state to invest up to 10% of certain public funds in bitcoin.

The Tennessee Bitcoin Alliance, TNBTC, aims to coordinate public-education programs with a legislative agenda for improving Bitcoin conditions and commercial activity in the state.

While currently focused on stablecoin legislation, the Tennessee senator also has plans for Bitcoin mining and AI data centers in his home state.

Another bill was introduced on the same day seeking to make Tennessee the U.S.’s top destination for Bitcoin enthusiasts.
