Nic Carter And Shaun Connell
Nic Carter is a general partner at Castle Island Ventures, a Cambridge, MA-based venture firm focused on public blockchain startups; and the cofounder of Coin Metrics, a blockchain analytics startup. Previously, he served as Fidelity’s first dedicated crypto asset analyst. He has an MSc in finance and investment from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in philosophy from the University of St. Andrews.
Shaun Connell is the executive vice president of power at Lancium. He has more than 15 years of experience in North American energy markets and has built and led teams in trading and asset optimization. He graduated from the University of Calgary’s Global Energy Executive MBA program. In his current role, he is responsible for developing and executing optimization strategies to maximize margins from the real-time physical operation of Lancium’s growing portfolio of controllable bitcoin mining loads.
