Matt Maraia

Matt Maraia, CPA, is a financial accounting consultant by trade looking to help educate the bitcoin community with the always-changing regulations on accounting standards. He seeks to provide stability and guidance in an area where there are many question marks, and additionally hopes to learn from the great people of the ₿ community. He hails from the beautiful state of Colorado and attended college in the San Francisco Bay Area. Matt started his career in 2016 at the Big 4 public accounting firm, EY (in San Jose), and now works at the California-based consulting firm, Principal Consulting Group (PCG), providing technical accounting expertise to various clients within the technology sector. He is an avid-reader into all things digital assets, business and tech. When procrastinating his day job, he prefers to spend time repeatedly having his heart broken by his childhood sweetheart hockey team, the Colorado Avalanche. Outside of that, Matt loves to ski the majestic Rocky Mountains, hack away at golf balls on the links, and hang with his fiancée and bernadoodle.
