Geyser Grants is offering a new $10,000 Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) grant to fuel development of Bitcoin-powered apps. The program targets open-source developers and designers worldwide building sovereign financial tools. It’s sponsored by Alby, Flash, Primal and BTC Curacão.

We need to stop thinking in terms of getting people to use Bitcoin software, we need to embed Bitcoin into existing software.

Alby Go is an easy-to-use open-source Bitcoin wallet that serves as an interface for your Lightning node or Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) wallet service.

As the complexity of Bitcoin software and applications using Bitcoin grows, the need for a simple coordination mechanism for different applications to interact grows as well.
