By participating in this reader survey, you are agreeing to these rules, terms, and conditions and agreeing to abide by them. Do not participate if you are not of legal age in your place of residence, do not agree with the rules, terms, and conditions, or do not meet any of the other requirements listed below. By participating, you warrant that you meet the requirements to enter and understand and agree with the rules.
DATES OF SURVEY PARTICIPATION: The survey will open for participation at 12:01 am EDT on August 15, 2022 and close at 12 midnight EDT on September 26, 2022, after which no further completed surveys will be received or qualified for sats (“Survey Entry Period”). You may participate in the survey only once.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: The survey is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and elsewhere outside the United States. Void wherever prohibited by law. Prohibited in countries, regions, and territories sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury, Commerce Department, or State Department. You must be the age of majority in your place of residence as of August 15, 2022. You are not required to have a Carrot account to participate, but must have a valid Carrot account in order to receive reward sats for participating (https://www.earncarrot.com/). Participants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to Privacy Policy and Terms of Use https://b.tc/terms YOU MAY PARTICIPATE IN THIS SURVEY ONLY ONCE. DUPLICATE ENTRIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Participate in the survey by completing and submitting the form provided by Bitcoin Magazine.
REWARDS: Bitcoin Magazine created this annual survey to gain a better understanding of our audience to better serve them and the larger bitcoin community in the future. As a token of thanks, you will be eligible to claim 1,000 sats for completing the survey. Within 24 hours of the survey closing at midnight on September 26, 2022, you will receive an email confirming your eligibility for sats with instructions.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Your participation in this survey constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the information you provide for BTC Inc’s business and editorial purposes, subject to the terms of our website and privacy policies. Mass entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified. BTC Inc reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the survey in the event it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired, and to cancel or suspend the survey in its entirety should tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the aurvey and, if terminated, at BTC Inc’s discretion, determine the qualifying surveys using all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to time of cancellation using the procedure outlined above. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the email account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these Official Rules. Authorized subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the email address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses. BTC Inc reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual (and void his/her Entries)) it finds to be tampering with the survey process or the operation of this website, intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other participant, BTC Inc, or any of its representatives or to otherwise be acting in violation of these Official Rules. CAUTION: Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operations of the survey is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, BTC Inc reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent permitted by the law and to disqualify such participant from the survey.
MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS: Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the survey. BTC Inc reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Survey is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. ARBITRATION & CHOICE OF LAW: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Survey, participant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Survey, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action lawsuit, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at the AAA regional office nearest the participant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Survey), and participant (or, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participants and Sponsor in connection with this Survey, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Delaware, USA with the parties submitting to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of Davidson County, Tennessee.
